Colorful Rolled Beef

Ingredient: 2 servings
  • 6 Slices Thinly Sliced Beef
  • 2 Asparagus
  • Salt for Boiling Sparingly
  • ¼ of each Bell Pepper (Red - Yellow)
  • 1 Tbsp Flour
  • Salt and Pepper Sparingly
  • 1 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • <Seasoning>
  • 1 Tbsp Koikuchi Soy
  • 2 Tsp Mirin
  • 1 Tsp Cooking Sake

Preparation
  1. Cut the bottoms of the asparagus off and peel the hard areas of the skin off. Cut into 3 sections. Boil lightly with salt and strain.
  2. Cut the bell peppers lengthwise into half an inch slices, then cut again so that they are about the same length as the asparagus.
  3. Open up the beef (sliced in half) onto a cutting board. Shake salt and pepper onto the beef slices and thinly flour. Put the asparagus and bell peppers on top of the beef slices and roll them. Cover thinly with more flour.
  4. Heat vegetable oil on high heat and cook the beef rolling them until they are browned all around. Then, add the <Seasoning> making sure that it evenly covers the rolls.

Kiwi Spare Ribs

Kiwi Spare Ribs

Ingredient: 2 servings
  • 2 oz Spare Ribs
  • 1 Tomato
  • 1 Kiwi
  • <Seasoning>
  • 2 Tbsp Koikuchi Soy
  • 2 Tsp Grated Garlic
  • 1 Tbsp Honey
  • 2 Tbsp Mirin
  • 2 Tbsp Cooking Sake
  • 2 Tsp Olive Oil

Preparation
  1. Put the <Seasoning> in a zip lock bag. Peel the skin off the kiwi and cut in half lengthwise. Smash one half of the kiwi and mix with the <Seasoning>. Cut the other half into four wedges.
  2. Cut the tomato into thick round slices.
  3. Make some incisions in the spare ribs so that it will cook faster. Put in the zip lock bag from (1) and let marinate for a couple hours.
  4. Put the spare ribs on a cookie sheet and bake in the oven for 15~20 minutes at 430-F . Take the cookie sheet out and put the tomato slices in between the spare ribs. Put back in the oven and cook another ~20 minutes. After you have made sure the spare ribs have been cooked through, put on a plate. Arrange the a kiwi on each tomato as a decoration. (Please be aware that some ovens have different temperatures, so keep an eye on your food as it is cooking.)
