Japanese Style Rolled Cabbage

Ingredient: 2 servings
  • Ingredients A
  • 4 oz Ground Pork
  • 2 Tbsp Dashi Soy
  • 1 Tsp Potato Starch
  • 2 Dried Shiitake Mushrooms
  • 1 oz Carrots
  • 3 Tbsp Shredded Green Onion
  • 1 Tsp Grated Ginger
  • Ingredients B
  • 4 Tbsp Dashi Soy
  • 1 Cup Liquid from Dried Shiitake Mushrooms
  • ½ Red Pepper

Preparation
  1. Cut the core out of the cabbage , wrap in saran wrap and heat in 800W microwave for 3 minutes and 30 seconds.
  2. Soak dried Shiitake Mushrooms in 1 cup of water. After, take out and mince the mushrooms.
  3. Combine Ingredients A in a bowl, mix well and separate into 6 sections.
  4. Wrap each section of (3) inside a piece of (1). Put pieces in a 800 W microwave and heat for 6 minutes. Unwrap and arrange on a plate.
  5. Put Ingredients B in a small pot, boil and mix until it is slightly thickened. Pour onto (4) and enjoy.

Cheese Meatball with Tomato Sauce

Cheese Meatball with Tomato Sauce

Ingredient: 2 servings
  • 7 oz Roast Beef
  • ½ White Onion
  • 3 Mushrooms
  • 3 oz Mozzarella Cheese
  • 2 Tbsp Dashi Soy
  • 1 Tbsp Potato Starch
  • Pepper (To Taste)
  • Basil (A few leaves)
  • <Sauce>
  • 2 Tbsp Salad Soy
  • 3 Tbsp Ketchup

Preparation
  1. Mince Onions and put in a heat resistant container. Leave the top open and heat in the microwave for 1 minute and 30 seconds. Mince the mushrooms as well.
  2. Mix together the Dashi Soy, potato starch, pepper and the ground beef . Add (1) and divide into about 20 sections.
  3. Divide mozzarella cheese into 20 sections as well and put in the middle of (2) and roll into balls.
  4. Put (3) on a heat resistant plate, leaving space in between the meatballs. Wrap with saran wrap and heat in a 600W microwave for 4 minutes. (Microwaves can come at different wattages. Keep an eye on the meatballs so as not to undercook or overcook them.)
  5. Arrange on a plate, pour the sauce on top and decorate with the basil.
