1tb Green Laver
3~4tb Sesame Seeds
<Sauce>
3tb Dashi Soy
1tb Mirin
1tsp Sesame Oil
Preparation
Mix the green laver with rice and make 4~6 rice balls.
Roll the rice balls in sesame seeds, and put in a pan on low heat.
When the sesame seeds are slightly browned, add the sauce and roll the rice balls in it. When the rice balls are completely covered and cooked on the outside, take them out and serve on a plate.
Skewered Miso Pork
Ingredient: 2 servings
7oz Pork Tenderloin
¼ Onion
2 Asparagus
3tb Chopped Green Onion
Sparingly Vegetable Oil
<Marinade for Pork>
2tb Dashi Soy
1 Cooking Sake
<Miso Paste>
2tb Miso
1tb Cooking Sake
1tsp Mirin
1tb Sugar
6 Skewers
Preparation
Cut the pork into bite sized pieces and mix with the marinade. Cut the onions into bite sized chunks. Cut the asparagus into 1 inch pieces.
Squeeze the liquid out of the pork. Arrange the onions and asparagus with the pork in an alternating fashion on the 6 skewers just like a kabob.
Put a thin layer of vegetable oil in a pan and cook skewers on both sides with medium heat. When the meat is browned, turn the heat to low, put the lid on and cook the pork through.
Spread the miso paste on both sides of the skewers, put on a plate and sprinkle the green onions on top.
